...distressed work boots!
Practical, comfortable, and surprisingly versitile, this style of boot can put a real rocket in your wardrobe and give some of your old favourites a new and unexpected edge. I have a pair in brown and a pair in black, and thus far i've mostly been wearing them with dark skinny denim and oversized tees. I love that the fact that they're so distressed that they almost look as if they've been worn on an adventure and the wearer would have a tale to tell. They're a bit punk and a bit boyish, but they also look wistful and romantic in away that they wouldn't if they were the same boot without the distressing. Mwah! J'adore!
They'll make the transition from winter to spring perfectly, looking just as fabulous with a light wash boyfriend leg denim, a check shirt and a trapper hat, as they do with a ditsy floral dress and chunky tights. I've worn them to death already, what will i do come summer?...
